Middletown Mentor Program
Initiated in 1992, the program has achieved notable success. Mentors are local volunteers, business people, as well as private individuals within the Middletown Public Schools. This program provides students with a valuable role model and trusted friend; a significant element which is often missing from their lives. As a result, we hope these students will realize greater motivation and self-esteem, as well as a heightened desire to remain in school. More importantly, both volunteers and students have formed lasting relationships.
