Community Assistance Program
The Assistant Director for Community Services identifies and refers guests to social services. The ADCS also facilitates Connect-To-Care, a monthly service fair that brings homeless service providers, employment, training, and education providers, alcohol and substance abuse providers into the Soup Kitchen for outreach and engagement. The Community Assistance Coordinator with her office above the dining room offers financial aid for rental and utility assistance when appropriate.

Operation Fuel, Inc.’s sixty-one fuel banks across the state of Connecticut. Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit statewide program offering emergency energy assistance to low income, working poor, elderly and disabled households who are ineligible for government assistance.
