Middlesex Youth Career Development Services
Middlesex Youth Development Career Services is designed to empower out of school low income youth ages 16-24 providing them on the job training, paid internships or certificate programs at Middlesex Community College. Students work with the program coordinator to set specific employment and/or education goals while in the program. Students are placed into employment after completion of the certificate program and are exited from the program and continue follow up services for four quarters. Students have the option to receive a paid internship while taking classes. Some of the certificates include EMT, Phlebotomy, CNA, Human Services Certificate, CT Security Guard and Vet Tech Certificate.
